ABOUT

      Patibulum is the musical offering to our Lord, Christ Jesus. David Kilmer is the composer and unfortunately, the only member of the band as it is still in the infancy of what I can only hope becomes a life changing event for some, and a place to worship in a louder way than normal - to raise money for charities and make a lasting difference in the world, something that only God can do.

      The Patibulum is the horizontal cross beam of the cross, the vertical one being called the stipe . The patibulum alone was probably 75 - 100 lbs and the entire cross was probably around 300lbs , making it more likely that the Romans had roped the patibulum to the Christ Jesus's arms instead of Him carrying the entire cross, but the Bible does state the cross. In either case, I chose the name Patibulum because it is a cryptic reminder of the pain and suffering Jesus had endured in order to spill his blood for our sins, to be the final lamb , innocent and without sin, the final sacrifice.
