The first time the words of my eternal Father were heard through the shadows of my self centered creative process

I know, sounds like a lot of Hot air, it is a lot to say at first, but it is true. When I was still before, being called by God to be the husband and father to my beutiful wife, I was still yet to be reborn. I was writing music and thinking, what could be more personal .... and then I wrote lyrics, while singing to the backing track, just writing what sounded best and came through the quickest. Some of those songs became a understanding that was meant only for me.
There is a few parts where it was just a conversation between myself and the creator, and although I felt like it was just a personal exploitation of something I needed and wanted ; a connection/relationship with G-D.
Now, after being baptized by the Holy Spirit , my only desire is to serve God. Music has become a gift, from Him, and anything I make for Him is hopefully more for those who need or desire to be closer to Him. God knows that the band Holy Name did that for me, and I assume many others. Music and "rock stardom" all of a sudden takes a totally different appearance when include God. In order for God to be present, it has NOTHING to do with the artist, and EVERYTHING to do with HIM! It would now be about spreading the Spirit of Truth to those looking for it, seeking, being called. I He is telling me that there is a great harvest in this and many more seasons. The great tidal of salvation is coming, and music could be the catalyst as it has proven many times before to be such.
Remember the Patibulum, Remember the struggle, the torture, the suffrage, the excruciating pain that Christ endured for us! He gave His only Son, a unblemished virgin lamb, innocent and without sin, for our sins. His blood, dripping from a million lashes, and million screams, a million punctures, a million thorns , from every inch of his body, saved us from all sin. Everyday, give praise and thanks for your daily bread, take up your cross, and follow Him.
I have never been happier now that I have a relationship with God, and music got me there. Amen!
